“One Hope Charity & Welfare has been in existence for 21 years, and it has grown to have a significant scale and impact. What is heartening is the dedication and generosity of kind-hearted individuals from all walks of life who have consistently walked alongside us and contributed to the steady development of One Hope Charity in the field of charity.

I joined Pertubuhan Dewi Xi Wang Dian family in 2002 when charitable work in the community was not as widespread. With the goal of benefiting the community, I proposed the establishment of a charitable foundation to provide assistance to vulnerable groups and make a positive impact on society. Upon the agreement of the board of directors, One Hope Charity & Welfare was established in the same year.

Since One Hope Charity's inception, we have remained steadfast in our mission, actively promoting charitable awareness, expanding our charitable work, mobilizing social forces, and raising funds from various sources. We have been involved in extensive efforts, including medical aid, emergency relief, poverty alleviation, elderly and orphan care, and various charitable initiatives, gaining recognition from both society and the government.

In recent years, we have established good relationships with various government departments, engaged in diverse projects, and expanded our coverage to include disaster relief and emergency assistance. This has allowed us to develop a comprehensive charitable assistance system that spans the entire nation.

One Hope Charity adheres to strict financial and audit systems, with all account transactions subject to rigorous oversight. Certified accountants audit and verify all financial details to ensure our operations meet modern charitable requirements and establish a mechanism for the thorough monitoring of funds.

Under Section 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967, One Hope Charity & Welfare received official income tax exemption certification from the LHDN of the Ministry of Finance in 2021. This is an encouraging development and a recognition of One Hope Charity.

The tangible assistance provided to vulnerable groups from various ethnic backgrounds, allowing them to overcome illnesses and life's hardships, is a result of the support from kind-hearted individuals, dedicated businesses, merchants, and organizations from all walks of life who have been supporting One Hope Charity over the years. Their helping hands have allowed those in need to deeply experience the warmth of a harmonious society.
