The largest outdoor cinema in Penang hosted the premiere of the film "OPPA" successfully raising RM 13,000 for One Hope Charity, to assist vulnerable groups in society.

Located in Riverpark at the Penang Auto City, the outdoor cinema premiered Malaysia's first film on anti-scam topics, "OPPA," on Thursday night, attracting 200 people of all ages to experience outdoor movie viewing in a natural environment.

This was also a charity night for outdoor cinema, with proceeds from the premiere benefiting One Hope Charity. Dato Chua Sui Hau, chairman of One Hope Charity, expressed gratitude to the generous donors for their contributions, which amounted to RM 13,000 through the premiere.

He mentioned that this film is educational, as it is a collaboration between the Malaysia Police and Dream Film Sdn Bhd, addressing the issue of online romance scams to raise public awareness and vigilance against fraud. He encouraged the public to watch the film.

"What's noteworthy is that, besides featuring South Korean actor and local actors, the Malaysia Police also participated in the film, adding a sense of realism to the entire movie."

The largest outdoor cinema in Penang boasts a 50-foot screen, allowing people to enjoy movies in a natural environment and immerse themselves in the visual spectacle brought by the film.
