"We are very touched to see the donations and blessings from people of all races. We are grateful to everyone for their donations to help cover our child's surgery expenses, and this has shown us the warmth of Malaysia's three major races."

The surgery expenses needed for one-year-old Muhammad Rayyan bin Mohamad Harith Asmawi from Jawi, Seberang Perai Selatan, have been fully raised. His parents are thankful for the generous help from the public. Their greatest hope is for a successful surgery, giving their child a chance to live and grow up healthy and safe.

Since birth, the boy was diagnosed with severe congenital heart disease and underwent surgery at two weeks old to save his life. Despite this, he became a cyanotic baby. Whenever he cries or exerts himself, he turns cyanotic and becomes easily fatigued. Without the surgery, the child's life would be in grave danger.
