Dhashvin A/L Harikrishnan from Klang began experiencing stomach pain and diarrhea four to five times a month at the age of 11. Initially diagnosed with a simple stomach ache and advised to drink only milk for four months, his condition did not improve. Further examination eventually revealed he had Crohn's Disease.

During the early stages of his illness, Dhashvin weighed only 27 kg. Despite growing older, his weight remains below the standard for his age and height, standing at 170 cm but weighing only 50 kg. Initially treated with oral medication, which proved ineffective, he was switched to injectable medication. This new treatment managed his condition, and regular injections last year helped control the disease. The doctor recommended continuing the injections until his gastrointestinal issues stabilized.

However, the high cost of the medication forced his family to stop the injections for several months, reverting to oral medication, which sometimes still leaves him with stomach pain and diarrhea. His parents are eager to resume the prescribed injections to prevent further complications and ensure effective treatment.

After receiving their application and conducting a home visit and assessment, ONE HOPE CHARITY decided to assist Dhashvin A/L Harikrishnan by providing eight doses of the necessary medication to reduce his gastrointestinal inflammation and prevent his condition from worsening.
