The 74-year-old Chinese woman, Yeoh Siew Hong, who was originally homeless, was hospitalized due to illness and later placed in a nursing home by the Welfare Department. Unfortunately, she passed away in the nursing home recently. One Hope Charity gathered donations from the public to provide her with a coffin and handle all posthumous arrangements, allowing her to complete life's final journey with dignity.

According to information provided by the Welfare Department, the elderly woman was single and had no relatives, making her a destitute elderly person. After undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in the hospital, her weakened physical condition prevented her from being able to care for herself, leading to her placement in the nursing home for proper care.

Upon receiving news of her passing, One Hope Charity utilized donations from the public to provide her with a coffin, urn, purchase of a niche, and handle all funeral arrangements.

One Hope Charity has always provided burial assistance to impoverished families. As long as they meet the criteria, we take full responsibility for funeral expenses, allowing families to send their loved ones on life's final journey with peace of mind.

#PromiseOfTheLastJourney

One Hope Charity promotes the "Promise of the last journey" care plan, allowing elderly individuals without family support to register in advance. This way, One Hope Charity can fulfill their funeral wishes after their passing.

Thanks to the regular donations from the public, the foundation can promptly assist more needy families and elderly individuals in handling their affairs after their passing. Those interested in contributing can donate at any time, as this support is ongoing to meet unforeseen needs.

Additionally, if there are impoverished families who cannot manage post-mortem arrangements for their deceased relatives or single elderly individuals who need pre-registration assistance, they can contact ONE HOPE CHARITY's hotline for help at 016-920 2920, 016-419 2192, or 04-539 9212.
