"Thank you, everyone! Within just 7 hours, we have raised the RM125,000 needed for Fong Crayson's medical expenses. We are truly grateful for all the donations and the well-wishes left in the comments. With everyone's encouragement, Fong Crayson will surely overcome this hurdle."

Four-month-old Fong Crayson is scheduled to be admitted to the hospital on May 10th. After undergoing chemotherapy to eliminate abnormal cells, the doctors plan for his father to donate bone marrow on May 27th. Following the transplant, Fong Crayson will need to be monitored for a year. We hope he can safely get through this challenge.

The parents have been meticulously caring for their child. The mother and baby have been almost completely isolated, only leaving the house for hospital visits. When the father returns from work, the first thing he does is shower and disinfect himself before touching the baby.

With the RM125,000 medical expenses fully raised, the parents are extremely grateful to One Hope Charity and the public for their life-saving help. They hope that after the bone marrow transplant, their child will grow up healthy and safe. They also promise to join One Hope Charity in helping more patients in need once their child recovers.

Fong Crayson from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, was born in January this year. A blood test showed a weak immune system, and genetic testing confirmed he has a rare chromosomal disorder (SCID). This means his body has no immunity, making him highly susceptible to bacterial infections. This devastating news left the family heartbroken, but the bone marrow transplant offers a glimmer of hope for his parents.
