In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Haji and to support frontline medical staff, Bukit Mertajam Hospital organized 'Jualan Rahmah' event offering affordable goods to benefit healthcare workers and patients' families.

ONE HOPE CHARITY sponsored 80 packs of goods worth RM150 each and RM50 ang pao, hoping to benefit frontline medical staff, including low-income medical staffs, nurses, security guards, and others. These were personally distributed by the chairman, Dato Chua Sui Hau.

The hospital director, Prashant A/L Subramanian, expressed gratitude to all the organizations involved in making this event possible. He emphasized the dedication of frontline medical staff in helping the community but questioned who would help them in return. He believes that as long as there is kindness in the heart, many will come forward to support.

Penang State Executive Councilor, Danial Gooi Zi Sen, also pledged to assist Bukit Mertajam Hospital in identifying suitable locations to expand medical services.

Both parties expressed their gratitude to ONE HOPE CHARITY for its dedication to charitable work, benefiting more underprivileged groups. Other attendees included the Penang SOCSO Director, Pn. Rafidah bt Abdul Rahim, the Chairman of the Hospital Visitors' Board, Ng Yi Cheah.
