"I have dedicated my entire life to my husband, children, and family. Now, I want to live for myself. If I can overcome this illness, I hope to do things I love, such as helping those in need, serving in nursing homes, spreading Buddhism, and doing good deeds—things I've always wanted to do but haven't."

Chan Nyok Yen, from Sungai Petani, Kedah, felt like her world was ending when she was diagnosed with cancer. At that time, she only wanted to take care of herself. She hopes that after recovering, she can help other cancer patients, encouraging them to face cancer with a positive and optimistic attitude.

With the necessary medication funds now fully raised, the medication is expected to provide treatment for up to a year. During this period, she can live her life as usual, assist her husband in making and selling cakes, and finally focus on her own needs, wanting to live for herself once more.
